Yes, Medoozle is free to use for patients. Great, isn’t it?

 

How does Medoozle make money?

Profiles of healthcare professionals and hospitals or clinics are listed on Medoozle for free. The profile owners can choose to add additional information, images and videos to their profiles for a fee.

On some webpages we display ads, for which we get paid a small amount when a site visitor clicks on such ad.

 

Why should I review my doctor or dentist?

Your review and recommendation help others make the right choice when evaluating which doctor or dentist to choose for their health problem. Constructive feedback can also help your doctor or dentist improve the experience for their patients.

 

Why do I need to sign up to leave a review?

We aim to provide a service that our community can trust. We have found that requiring a user to sign up to leave a review allows us to better ensure reviews are from real patients.

 

How do I leave a review of my provider?

To leave a review for your doctor or dentist on Medoozle, you need to first find their profile on www.medoozle.com. On their profile, click on the button next to their name that says “Leave A Review”. You will then be directed to a form to fill out a brief patient satisfaction survey.

 

How can I leave a helpful review?

Include the key points that you as a patient would be most interested in reading. Your review will be most helpful if it includes specific descriptions about what you liked and didn't like about your experience, as well as why you feel that way. Try to include any details that you think may be useful to another patient. If possible, answer all nine questions in the short survey, so that other patients may get the full picture of your experience.

 

Are there rules on what I can and cannot say in my review?

Yes, and they are listed in our Review Guidelines. Threats, harassment, hate speech, defamatory statements or anything that is inconsistent with public moral and good conduct or is blasphemous will not be posted on Medoozle.

 

Does Medoozle moderate any of the reviews featured on the site?

Our specialised team does look at all reviews to make sure they comply with our Review Guidelines. To maintain the quality and integrity of our reviews, each review goes through a confirmation and auditing process. We reserve the right to edit or remove posted content that contains obvious typos or does not comply with our guidelines.

 

Are there instances where a review may not be posted?

Offensive: We won’t publish anything profane, vulgar, or otherwise offensive.

Slander or insult: We will not post anything that can be viewed as slander or in-sulting.

Personal information: We take your privacy seriously! We won’t post reviews that include personally identifiable information such as your full name, phone number, email address, etc.

Pricing specifics: It’s fine to state your opinion of whether a doctor’s service came at a good price, but we won’t publish pricing specifics. These comments tend to reflect more on insurance providers than physicians.

Accuracy of treatment or diagnosis: We encourage you to describe your feel-ings about the doctor’s treatment of you as a patient. However, we don’t publish claims about the accuracy of a practitioner’s treatment and diagnosis, because these are factual matters which we are unable to verify.

Promotional content: We want our reviews to be as relevant as possible, so we don’t post reviews that promote an unrelated website, product, topic, or other item that is unrelated to the patient experience.

 

I submitted a review. Why hasn’t it been posted yet?

It is quite likely that your review is still going through our confirmation process. If it hasn’t been posted in three days, it is possible it wasn’t published because it violated our Review Guidelines.

 

Can I leave more than one review?

We don’t allow users to leave more than one review for the same healthcare professional within a 12 months period. You can, however, submit more than one review if you are submitting for more than one healthcare professional.

 

Why isn't my doctor listed on your site?

We aim to feature all healthcare professionals in the UAE on Medoozle.com that come into direct contact with patients. However, the UAE is a place where healthcare professionals as well as patients tend to come and go, and we might miss some new arrivals or departures. If you can’t find your doctor, dentist or other healthcare professional on our site, please email us at support@medoozle.com with as many details as possible, so that we can add him/her to our directory.

 

How can I correct information on a doctor’s profile?

If you notice information on a doctor's profile that you believe is incorrect, please let us know by using our online form. Healthcare professionals can also claim and manage their own free profile by registering on Meddozle.com.

 

Can doctors pay for good reviews?

No, reviews cannot be bought.

 

Can doctors pay to have bad reviews removed?

No, healthcare professionals cannot pay to have negative reviews removed from medoozle.com.

I am a healthcare professional. Why should I claim my profile on Medoozle?

Claiming your profile allows you to edit or update the existing information displayed on your profile and upload a profile photo (headshot). You will also receive notification emails whenever a patient posts a review on your profile. Claimed profiles have priority placement in our search results.

You will also have the option to expand your profile by adding a professional statement or biography, listing additional specialties, your education and qualifications, as well as adding additional photos or video and listing accepted insurance providers.

By completing and personalising your profile information, you are providing patients with up to date information that helps them feel confident in choosing you. Patients are twice as likely to book an appointment when your profile is complete.

 

How do I claim my Medoozle profile to update my information?

All healthcare professionals and clinics/hospitals can claim their Medoozle profiles for free. To claim your profile, first sign up or log in to Medoozle.com and then search for your profile. Click on the button that says “Claim This Profile” and follow the instructions on the pages that follow.

 

My profile is not listed on Medoozle. What do I need to do to get listed?

We aim to feature all healthcare professionals in the UAE on Medoozle.com that come into direct contact with patients. However, the UAE is a rather transient place and we might miss some new arrivals or departures. If you can’t find your profile on our site, please contact our Happiness Team using our online form or email us at support@medoozle.com so that we can add you to our directory.

 

Can I claim more than one profile?

Yes. If you are an administrator of a clinic or hospital and/or representing multiple healthcare professionals, you are able to claim and manage the profiles of all healthcare professionals and facilities for which you have the relevant authorisation to do so.

 

How do I know when a patient leaves a review on my profile?

When you claim your profile, we will send you a notification to your registered email address every time a patient leaves a review on your profile.

 

Can I post a response to a patient review?

Yes. Healthcare professionals who have claimed their profile and upgraded to a Premium subscription are able to responsd online to patient reviews.

 

What does Medoozle do to prevent fraudulent patient surveys?

Medoozle validates every survey via a confirmation process that involves human as well as artificial intelligence (AI). Prior to posting free-text comments, we review the comments against our business and privacy rules to ensure they do not violate our Review Guidelines. Additionally, we use proactive and reactive measures on a daily basis to investigate any questionable activity. If you think someone has falsified a survey about you or your staff, contact our Happiness Team using our online form or email us at support@medoozle.com.

 

Can I publish health-related articles on Medoozle?

Writing thought-leadership articles or guest blogging is an excellent way to position yourself as an influential medical professional and build credibility as well as awareness of your personal brand. You can reset your password by using the “Sign up / Log In” menu option at the top right corner of any page on the Medoozle website and clicking “Forgot your password?” under the “Login” button. How can I unsubscribe from Medoozle emails?

If you no longer wish to receive emails from Medoozle, please login to Medoozle and select the “Profile” option under the “My Account” menu option at the top right corner of any page on the Medoozle website. In the “Notifications” section you can change your notification settings. We recommend you to at least select to receive “Account Activity Emails Only”, so that you receive notifications when your email address or password is updated.
